Wiki Polandball Hispana (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈwiki ˈpolambol isˈpana] ), popularly known as Wiki Polandball or by its acronym WPH (Spanish pronunciation: [wepeˈatʃe]) is a wiki community founded in 2013 in Spanish that deals with polandball. It is one of the most popular Polandball community right after the English and Chinese, it is also the most popular wiki in Encyclopedia Polandballae.

History

Prehistoric Era: Beginning and abandoning

Period: November 26, 2013 - April 24, 2014

On November 26, 2013, the wiki was founded by the now deceased Vercetti Tommy. It is still unknown why he created it, whether it was as a joke, to generate spam, or because he wanted to help the expansion of the English Wiki.

The wiki was abandoned, there was no articles, the only users were Finn humano, and it's founder. It was December 2013, it was a difficult time for the wiki, there was no one to help it or make it grow, it was deserted and sad. Finn humano inherited the position of wiki administrator, but he could not take charge himself and abandoned the page; despite this inheritance, the Founder Vercetti Tommy would keep the position of bureaucrat, it would not be until about 2 years later that he would lose it after a movement led by the administrator in turn AlBeOrion to remove positions from inactive users.

Ancient Era: Voztok Revival

Period: April 24, 2014 - December 19, 2014

In April 2014, Voztok started to contribute to the wiki by little. In August 29, 2024, he started the process of adopting wiki, where he would obtain positive votes in his favor and great general support, until September 6, 2014. Lately, on October 21, he has become the (thread) bureaucrat. During 2014 many wanted to take administrative positions in the Wiki, such as Pato Ezequiel, who wanted to run for a position and the second most recognized case, the request to obtain the powerful position of bureaucrat by Axelultra (administrator at that time) in order to reform the wiki system; However, there was not enough support nor a good relationship between the leading bureaucrat on duty ( Voztok) and the user, so he did not obtain any position and was removed from his position as administrator, a double loss for Axel.

Early Classical Era: the Golden Era

Period: December 20-21, 2014 - September 2015

From the end of 2014 to the summer of 2015, the emergence of users and various absurd and fleeting discussions stood out, thus giving rise to the famous Golden Age of the wiki. Autumn arrived and the users who arrived were countless: from Es puki to the future bureaucrat Ella Jacobi (better known as Makaii), although she did not perform any feats or edits, so she went unnoticed; and almost at the end of that year, the well-known David2076 and Tomytomytomy (currently known as Chevy) arrived. It was the end of the year and it went from being a humble forgotten wiki to being a huge community with great and unique users. But glory had not yet arrived in its full power.

2015 begins with the blocking of the former administrator, Axel, for using the circle tool to make countryballs, the main drawing ban in the countryballs fandom; Miki2833, known for his spam and immature attitude, also arrived, as did the future administrator TLG95, who drastically edited the Colombia template. The small immature actions were soon noticed thanks to his first spam, for which he had to beg not to be sanctioned by TLG95. Also noteworthy is the opening of basurapedia (a wiki where all the poor quality images were stored) and the achievements of David2076 in page creation. It was summer and contributions were the order of the day; Wiki Polandball Hispana was already a wiki with businesses, with arrivals such as Moulderurt.5, later nicknamed Curco (who became a symbol of a dictatorship after his promotion to chat moderator) and the current administrator AlBeOrion. September arrived and the perfectionist DIMR4444 arrived, who made some contributions and disappeared. Later Miki won his second block, this time for trash categories. During this period, terms were coined that would give rise to the wiki's lore: first the word bubu, for the mistakes of Tomy, Miki and Libia (the most immature ones), later ansulus for the bad spelling of Anschluss by Miki to refer to the administrators and finally curco to denote the authoritarian administrators or moderators after the misuse of his power by Moulderkurt. Currently, all these words are in disuse and their use is prohibited because they ended up causing the caste system within the encyclopedia, which only caused damage to society.

Despite all this, the wiki lacked internal rules; it was not until June 2015 that the bureaucrat Voztok would write the bases of the general regulations of the wiki, in July the creation and editing of the Manual of the good article would begin and on July 20 of the same 2015, the chat rules by the already moderator and future "dictator", Moulderkurt.

Late Classical Era: Encyclopedic Decay

Period: October 2015 - July 5, 2016

In October 2015, the tragedy began: According to Chevy, the Polandball Wiki Civil War happened, a war known for involving all the Polandball Wikis thanks to the problems that existed in the English Wiki. At the same time, the promotion (spotlight) of our wiki was approved throughout the Fandom Hispano network, while future moderators arrived: -Fallen14, Ignacio Firelce and CabiBall Z. On the other hand, at the end of the month, the rumor began that Makaii suffered an accident (a fact that has not been proven). Moulderkurt returns to the spotlight in this period, now as ex-moderator (dismissed in August after the incidents in his "dictatorship"), he began a personal investigation to find out who betrayed him and to date there is no very certain evidence of who it was. Finally, at the beginning of 2016, the user would be permanently blocked by Voztok after an attempt at rebellion. If you want to know the outcome, Moulderkurt would not be unblocked until 2021 by Taxcymus, 5 years after the incident. Moulderkurt's block did not calm the waters on the wiki, generating tensions and misunderstandings between Voztok and TLG95 (now administrator), thus causing his retirement: by this point, the wiki was entering into decline, but as the saying goes: "worse things were to come".

After the administrative problems, there was some vandalism and spam (caused by a certain Anonymous), but despite this, there were some positive developments: Ella Jacobi and Mr. Libya returned, and a partnership was made with Memespedia, which was proposed by Elegant smoker and was accepted by Voztok.

Following the withdrawal of TLG95 and the constant absences of Voztok, the wiki suffered from the lack of administrators; by decision of Voztok, users Ryuki101 and David2076 occupied the administrator positions from February to July 2016, marking this mandate as the Diarchy. The story is curious, because during that period three users arrived who in the future we will see become polar opposites: the most wanted vandals: Trollencio and Ubuntu344; and the future bureaucrat Taxcymus. The arrival of many new users of a leftist nature also gave birth to the URHS, a movement that gained strength but ended up losing it after the blocking of its leaders. Another notable event was when the then Nochesco challenged the then administrator David to a duel of blocks, where Noche ended up blocked and defeated. Some time later, Makaii was elevated to bureaucrat on March 8, 2016, without community consultation. This period would later be known as MakaiiReich.

Between March 31 and April 1, 2016, AlBeOrion launched his proposal to be a chat moderator, which was a resounding success and Voztok granted him the position ipso facto. Shortly after, Ignacio Firelce discovered that the URHS movement was only a group of multi-accounts whose purpose was unknown, so it was quickly banned and its leaders blocked. At that time, new users arrived, such as Noaxh, Sen (who was wrongly accused of multi-accounting), Johathan, who was "crucified" because a troll accused him of multi-accounting without reason so that this user could annoy without John admonishing him; to this day he considers himself a multi-account despite the fact that he himself testified that he wanted to help the wiki against multi-accounting. The arrival of many newbies with too much immaturity caused a strong rejection towards these users, which gave rise to the Bubus Hunt 2016, where many users harassed and intimidated immature and newbie users. This hunt was strongly promoted by Lord Trollencio and some less famous users. Although at first the newbies suffered from this harassment, Cabimasball GT and Nochesco would be the main victims of this rejection. This rejection towards both has reasons: Cabismasball GT, Cabi Z's younger brother, was a very immature user who sought a position at all costs, especially the position of "administrator", despite his terrible edits and not meeting the minimum age. On the other hand, Nochesco was a user who drew terribly, which is why his art was mostly removed from the encyclopedia. Both of them, being socially rejected, ended up joining and founding Wiki Artballs, a wiki where poor quality drawings were welcomed and Cabi GT was able to be an administrator. The luck of both of them went down the drain when they were persecuted by the bubus hunters, to the point of being persecuted to their wiki (Wiki Artballs) until it was closed. Cabi GT ended up leaving the wiki, but the harassment did not stop and the harassers began the "Expedition to Comidas Central wiki" to banish Nochesco, generating vandalism until the wiki was closed. There can be no happy ending after this, but there is one. Cabi GT left the wiki (a few months later his older brother would do so). Nochesco left for a long time, returning until 2019 to apologize for what he did and discover that she was a woman (or at least, that's what he said via Discord). After a few months of staying on Discord, she left to never return.

Returning to historical events, while these social problems were occurring, during the shared mandate of David and Ryuki, user pages and business blogs were deleted and Axelultra was blocked forever for unknown reasons. The Diarchy came to an end, giving way to a user who was already relevant at that time, Taxcy, becoming an administrator. Similar to what happened with Ella Jacobi (Makaii), there was no consultation with the community.

Back to the historical events, while these social problems were occurring, during the shared tenure of David and Ryuki, user pages, business blogs were deleted and Axelultra was permanently banned for unknown reasons. The Diarchy came to an end, giving way to an already relevant user at the time, Taxcymus, becoming an administrator. Similar to what happened with Ella Jacobi (Makaii), there was no consultation with the community.

Not everything was so bad and drastic in those times, the traditional Bubu de Oro saw the light for the first time, becoming the most active and long-lived tradition in the encyclopedia. It was on April 22, 2016, with Tomy/Chevy emerging as the winner.

Taxcymus (who we will refer to as the masculine occasionally for grammatical reasons) took his first steps in the wiki with alliances from Geography Wiki and Girls und Panzer Wiki, later he gained the trust of Voztok and other users; that is why he proposed to bring the newscast "Fast Fast Notices", a project that would close doors in the future.

Taxcymus's rise to the role of administrator marked the beginning of a new era, however, there were still many social issues to attend to and some matters with a Spanish Freddy's Fazbear Pizza Wiki, the new ally to establish.

Encyclopedic Civil War (Early Postclassical Era)

Period: July 5, 2016 - October 1, 2016

The hunt against Noche had intensified, and Taxcy had risen to power; it was the beginning of a new stage, full of changes and solutions to some very controversial problems. However, before Taxcy's rise to administration, the once alliance with the English-speakers would be filled with high tensions thanks to Antonio's dissatisfaction (Antonio was the English wiki bureaucrat on duty) at being offended in Bubupedia with rudeness for having defended Chevy during a fight with AlBeOrion and David2076. Tensions ended sooner rather than later.

Once Taxcy arrived as administrator, a vote was taken the next day for former administrator Ryu to be promoted to discussion moderator to help the community. In turn, a young administrator named Luisfernandolopez (later known as Leo's Ball) from Freddy Fazbear Pizza Wiki proposed an alliance between both wikis in order to improve relations and support the founding of the Congress. New users arrived such as Draco12s, Gukumatz, YuhBRO, Luis, Niko, Degar and Rodrigo. Most of them came first to the chat to finally stay.

Already after the persecution of Cabi and Nochesco, a new problem was the order of the day thanks to a mapper who pretended to be a “supremacist”, annoying some users by his haughty attitude, making them chase him to his Mapping wikis (being closed all of them). Dieggi (as the user was called) ended up finished and unhappy, the fight between him and four so-called “autistas” users (Trollencio, Ubuntu, NoaxhJones and Ignacio Firelce) lasted between July 22, 2016 until August 16, 2016. Thanks to this chase, it is discovered that this mapper was Spaniard, so between Ubuntu and Troll, they founded the later controversial “Escuadrón Patea Culos Españoletes” (EPCE by its acronym), At first they were the wiki's army informally, to end the vandals and protect it, but in the end it became a conquest-wikis and vandalism group. After past hunts (bubus and multiaccounts), persecutions (Nochesco, Cabi and Dieggi) and the newly formed EPCE, it became known as the “Autistic Government”, because of its influence over the users.

The union of the diarchy in a formal government led by Taxcymus, an “autistic” government parallel to the system and the still in force MakaiiReich gave way for the wiki to have 4 governments in total, with the firm task of Taxcymus to unify them sooner rather than later in a single flag. From here begins a period that although it was not a direct conflict between all parties, it would be dubbed by AlBeOrion as “the civil war”, because there was no side with greater weight until future events allowed it.

Alongside the Dieggi hunt, on July 12, Troll and Taxcymus put aside their differences and founded the Poland Academy: a small academy for cartoonists and editors. Currently, Poland Academy is closed, but in 2019 it was renamed Polandball Institute, with a new teaching scheme heavily driven on the Facebook social network. In addition, despite the social chaos, on July 18, 2016, after the partnership with Freddy Fazbear Pizza Wiki, formally established the Community Congress. This body took many important aspects to deal with, but it took a long time to make the first official meeting, the first congress members were: Voztok, Makaii, Degar, Noaxh, Draco, Luis and Taxcy, although it did not take long to join AlBeOrion.

The MakaiiReich got a new prominence by blocking the lawyer DIMR4444, accused of a “rebellion” that DIMR wanted to start on Facebook on July 20, but after social pressure, Makaii finally unblocked him on July 30. A brief but effective reminder that even the official administration was not on top of Ella Jacobi herself.

The tragedies of the year took a break for August and September of the same year, when users took the initiative to organize events: NoaxhJones founded the Hispanic Polandball Wiki Olympics (Juegos Olímpicos Wiki Polandball Hispana), although they were never concluded at the time, they planted the seed to celebrate a future installment and still-standing tradition of holding an internal Olympics every Olympic year in real life.

During September, the “Autistic” Government under the leadership of Troll called for a September without bubus (Septiembre sin bubus), an event that consisted of a whole month without generating problems (harassment, intimidation and bullying) to the users called “bubus”. The Congress tried to be up to date and keep moving, this month brought with it alliances with other wikis and strong tensions with the EPCE and de facto, the “Autistic” Government for breaking local rules.

However, Angel333Rat, a user who had already been on the wiki for some time, began to gain fame and make friends with users in the chat, which at the time still retained its original glory. Angel333Rat brought trouble with him, as he was harassed by a certain Karstamp. Karstamp soon became the new victim and casus belli of the EPCE starting his harassment within the same Wiki Polandball Hispana and the currently deleted Wiki Mexicoball. Unfortunately, this problem rather than being solved, worsened the situation, causing hatred and disrespect towards Angel by several users.

Karstamp managed to dither the EPCE, but not for long, as he was finally caught on Negas Wiki on September 24-25, during the First (and only) Anniversary of Fast Fast Notices and near the birth of the first (and only) chatbot, powered between Taxcymus with the help of PipeDLH (an FFP Wiki technician). This persecution made Ubuntu and Troll lead the EPCE to massively vandalize Negas Wiki</span, leaving it totally in ruins and almost destroyed, pushing Wiki Polanball Hispana into a diplomatic crisis: the young WPH that was making a place for itself in the interwiki, now suffered the external pressure of being an asylum for vandals as nefarious as the aforementioned duo. This meant that during those days and until September 29, the community suffered terrible negative criticism from its new allies.

Due to this act, the EPCE was dissolved and Ubuntu and Troll were blocked (along with their multi-accounts). This event led Taxcy to give a 180-degree turn to the administration; thus began a new stage within the same administration and society, which would change the wiki forever. The event between Negas Wiki and Polandball Wiki, the problem with the EPCE and the global blockades, was called the “Negas-Polandball War”. Although it was not the Polandball Wiki community that caused the problem, but the EPCE, which was hosted on the wiki.

Taxcymus Plan and the Armed Peace (Late Postclassical Era)

Period: October 1, 2016 - December 31, 2016

After these terrible events, the wiki found itself “indebted” to Negas Wiki, so to satisfy and help Negas Wiki “rebuild”, the WPH administration undertook to become allies with Negas, took mutual cooperation plans, and were provided with codes, all this in post-war reparations.

During the month of October, the wiki underwent drastic changes and internal improvements to prevent mass vandalism and conflict of such magnitude from happening again. As a symbol of interwiki unity and peace, the “Taxcymus Plan” created by Taxcy was launched with the intention of improving the wiki, including a strong diplomatic push, regulatory reforms, absolute repudiation of vandals, support for any movement to intervene against vandalism, promotion of new users in the administration, expanding the moderation team and democratization of the wiki. Such acts made Firelce call it “the Armed Peace”, because the actions looked like preparations for a major event. Thus the Taxcymus Plan and the Armed Peace (Plan Taxcymus y la Paz Armada) was coined.

From this period many memorable things happened. This period came with the closing of the Wiki Polandball Usuarios, even when the armed peace was just being planned; many projects and regulations began to undergo several changes and reforms: Taxcy began to fix the chat rules, created by Moulderkurt, as the rules were very permissive, even until January and April 2017 had to continue improving and reforming to give more social openness but at the same time prohibit certain acts that only caused disturbances and arguments. On October 15 2016 would start with the project of creating a page about the administration of Wiki Polandball Hispana, which has benefited the general information until today; that project ended in February 2017.

Later in October, the second official meeting of the Congress was held, where YuhBro and KRQC also joined the Congress. This important meeting determined several things for the future that are still ongoing to this day. After Troll's blockade, the Academia de Polonia was abandoned, but on October 24 it was retaken; these big changes also brought with them the first new party design for the wiki, being this one dedicated to Halloween, so much was the magnitude of this event that a contest was made for the occasion.

The month of October was full of very fast progress that compensated for the slowness in the past months; by the end of October and beginning of November new moderators joined the administration: Draco and Cabi Z. It was in this month of November that there was greater stability until the return of the unfortunate Angel. Angel in an attempt to be funny, vandalized Peppa's Wiki with the help of Juku Ren; this vandalism despite not being inside WPH or Negas during its reconstruction, was frowned upon by everyone considering the recent event. Users such as Beto, David, Firelce, and Draco overly emphasized his mistake within the chat. Ryu in an act of mercy tried to help Angel, however, he ignored and left the wiki, vowing to return soon to destroy it. Despite the problems with Angel, for the third anniversary of the wiki, Ignacio made special awards for all the editors.

In a memorable act, on November 8, a double dismissal occurred: Ella Jacobi (Makaii) and founder Vercetti, with community approval, were stripped of their bureaucracies, thus concluding the MakaiiReich. Days later, on November 11, also suggested some threads that began to lose sense and order, including a referendum and an independent nomination of David2076 for bureaucrat; in the end they ended up declining thanks to the joint intervention of Voztok and Taxcymus.

The year 2016 ended with a “golden brooch”, an account of everything that happened was published on the front page, the administration had 8 members: Voztok as bureaucrat, Taxcy as administrator, Ryuki as global moderator (content, discussions and chat), Beto as content and chat moderator, David as discussions and chat moderator, Draco and Cabi Z as chat moderators and Ignacio as reverser. Later on, TLG95 unexpectedly visited the wiki again, during the Christmas holidays. A new vandal was seen in the distance: a certain Nero Alan wished a merry Christmas by vandalizing the wiki pretending to be Angel, making everyone believe that Angel was back with company. The happiness ended: by the end of December 26, there was no more Voztok activity on the wiki (until his eventual return in 2020), while on Facebook his last post was on December 31, leaving the wiki now in the hands of Taxcy.

Vandalics Wars (Protomodern Era)

Period: January 1, 2017 - July 9, 2017

During this period the improvements and projects completed within the Chat Rules and the Administration page are highlighted, and the General Rules of the Wiki are being improved. A new design for the old chat made by ZerphetuS was presented. On January 12, 2017, a new chat background was voted on and used temporarily until March.

At the same time of this event, an exile from another wiki, DarkTaker, arrived, who helped in the creation of a better CSS design and some important advice for the reforms of regulations, he also made tests to catalog who was or was not in charge, being Ignacio, Ryuki and Draco removed from their positions, although Ryuki kept his position as chat moderator. Niko also retired from the whole platform, and therefore, from the wiki and the Congress; but despite this, new users like Carmmy and Flaming arrived, who helped a little in editions and other various things, like Carmmy who for example, was responsible for creating the new style of the little arrow for the mouse, countryball style. January closes with a total change in Wiki Polandball Hispana: Taxcy made an official vote for promotion to bureaucrat since our beloved Voztok had disappeared from the wiki and Facebook, so Taxcy was promoted to bureaucrat and with it, the maximum head of the encyclopedia, new changes began from this moment.

February was a controversial month; it started with Creg's promotion to chat moderator on February 1st, a very short-lived promotion because on February 21st he retired, being a very active moderator even though the chat was not. Just 4 days after this, on February 25 Ryuki loses his position as chat moderator for abuse of power. At the same time, while two veterans were retiring, AlBeOrion and David were promoted by voting to wiki administrators. A space called “discussions” also began to grow exponentially (a space enabled in fandom wikis that many years later would gain relevance in events on our wiki). There was a certain romance with the “Love Games” between Steven Universe Wiki and Club Penguin Wiki, although nobody really participated, except Rodrigo, who ironically won second place in the whole event.

Also, Degar returned, but only for a few days, but other than that, the action was about to begin. There were some vandalisms made by Nero Alan and Cell24 pretending to be Angel. On February 28, Angel returned clarifying that he was not Nero Alan, but because Nero tarnished Angel's image more than it already was, no one believed him. Then came Imperio Españolball, a new user who started to boost the “discussions” space and made quality edits within the wiki pages. Unfortunately, Imperio Españolball did not last long in Wiki Polandball Hispana. In the meantime, Angel and his companions started vandalizing Undertale Wiki and then reached this wiki until finally expanding into more wikis in what seemed like a military campaign. Taxcymus gave a speech to the community encouraging everyone to start a campaign against vandalism: the Vandalics Wars had begun.

Guerras Vandálicas (Vandalics Wars) was the nickname that the vandals themselves gave to their sieges on Wiki Polandball Hispana and its allies. In March, the vandalism spread like wildfire on all the Hispanic wikis, so the administration was forced to take care of the chat and the encyclopedia. Activity was sometimes high, sometimes low, and maintaining both editorial and administrative stability presented a problem for the leadership; precisely at the end of February and March, a period of temporary instability would begin.

There were no moderators, only the absent Cabi Z who did not show up in his position, so it was time to appoint new recruits for chat moderation and so the administrators could face the vandals on the rise. Finally, on March 20, a special thread was opened, this one started by presenting two users to be the new chat moderators, Sen and Fire, both were winners and accepted by the community, temporarily stabilizing the security in the wiki.

From February to April, Troll was on WPH pretending to be another user thanks to a multi-account called Incognitoball. At first he managed to fool the administration, however it didn't take long for users to start suspecting that Incognitoball and another account (Cosmefulanito) were actually vandals. There were already suspicions of this from AlBeOrion, but they were ignored due to lack of evidence. Finally it was checked and it was indeed Trollencio himself. From March to April the wiki was plagued by vandalism by users who resented the wiki: on the one hand, Lord Trollencio and Angel were driving the attacks on the wiki, while Nero Alan, DarkAsulio and Cell, three users who only wanted to have fun while vandalizing, obeyed them completely.

Together they founded a group called Secta Skyoe (Skyoe Sect), in charge of vandalizing several wikis, thus giving birth to the War against vandalism officially by the wikis. Those were difficult times, the administration could not be all the time watching the wiki, so they resorted to a dynamic called “Temporary Chat Moderators”, where several good candidates were presented. Recruitment began in April: Cif was promoted as temporary chat moderator on April 7, Draco on April 17, and finally Reptile from Wiki Map Games on May 20. The wiki experienced a small respite despite the constant sieges, AlBeOrion celebrated another Bubu Day: There was not much reception, with Lord Trollencio participating with a multi-account and Taxcymus as a way to keep the dynamics active. Taxcymus won because the Vandals could not participate, being the only victory by “default” and also the only one by a bureaucrat.

Events followed their natural course, the vandalism started to wane at the beginning of May, but came back with a bang at the end of May until the beginning of June; in fact, the aforementioned Troll returned with a new multiaccount called Usuarioanormal to start a map game. The fate of the multiaccount was the same as the previous ones. In this half of May new users arrived such as Countrysebas, SEB417, Japonball210 and Mr. Rankings11.

Vandalism and multi-accounts were stopped until mid-June. By this time, vandalism was booming and there were some important events, one of them was the accusation of Cif as a spy and member of Skyoe, for which he was dismissed (years later, his innocence was proven), losing his position. It is also in this month that Ryuki's track is lost, since he begins to be absent. At the same time, do you remember Gukumatz? At the beginning of the year he had created the Discord server of Wiki Polandball Hispana. An unofficial server, but where almost all the administration was. Since Guku was absent, shortly before the beginning of the Vandal Wars, Taxcymus decided to found a first Discord server for the wiki, in order to organize the administration and users against vandalism attacks.

He subsequently created a second server, which was opened by March 2018 to the public, once Vandalics Wars had concluded and all vandalism had been eradicated for the time being. By this point in 2017 the administration was downsized, subsequently dubbed the “eternal administration”, as many of the users in their posts were not removed until late 2019, early 2020 or even much later, until mid-2021.

Early Modern Era: Reconstruction

Period: July 10, 2017 - April 8, 2018

The beginning of July was the end of a chaotic season of vandalism and other internal problems. The month started in an interesting way, many newbies arrived, so the Polish Academy became saturated, thanks to these newbies like Dertototo, Rawars, GranColombiaball, Assumptione and other new guys. Also thanks to this, the warnings started to increase on the message wall, and there were even blocks for those who made very noticeable mistakes on the pages. On the other hand, AlBeOrion would create the R136a1 Awards, an award similar to the Oscars, but focused on countryball artists. Unfortunately, these awards were not as well received as planned and were forgotten. The chat recovered its activity and veteran users began to help the newbies. Also the administration recovered contact with David2076 and Cabi Z, both inactive since April.

There were some casual vandalism and spy multi-accounts that were soon stopped. The month was peaceful and quiet, without any problems, and activity increased. Due to the daily edits on pages, the few responsible for reviewing the pages, which were David and Taxcy could not always sustain this, so, with support from Firelce and Draco, Taxcymus took the internal decision of the administration to promote Leo as content moderator. In turn, Alb-Burguete reappeared to edit his profile.

By the end of July, August was a slow month, activity was constant but lower, discussions also started to die, time went by, and by the end of August and beginning of September, what some called a miracle happened: new users like Veneco, Arekushiosu or Guillecine came to the Wiki and activity started to rise again, besides, a “legend” for some like AlBeOrion, had resurfaced: it was the same Alb-Burguete, who already a year ago had disappeared from the wiki; his return was spotted thanks to a special blog.

From September, the activity began to increase considerably thanks to the editions of the new and Alb, just 4 days after his “triumphal entry” he was granted the position of reverser, a September 10, 2017. Precisely in August and September was when Wiki Polandball Hispana became aware of the problematic and warlike situation in some countryballs pages on Facebook, all thanks to the news brought from Facebook by Luis.

The encyclopedia began to have more activity, this benefited the activity of the place. The September without bubus was also celebrated once again, where the winner was the silent Alb (being the last time it was celebrated).

With September over, October once again opened the doors of the wiki with its great Countryballs on Halloween contest (volume 2); there were a total of 11 participants and two judges ( Taxcy and Csavil), there were several winners: the best comic made by Alb, the best costumed countryball made by Leo and the best userball made by EspañaAustriaBall Mapper. Sadly also on October 4, our hard-working Are stopped editing on the wiki. It is also in this month that we welcome Brandotes, ElMapperBelga and BonkCenna, as well as other new discussion users. October closes quietly, to make way for November to open its doors.

November arrived with a lot of news: first of all our wiki celebrated another year of life, also on November 3rd new congress members joined in order to make up for the inactivity of Voztok, these being Yuh and KRQC, Burguete, David and Brandotes. The wiki activity was quite normal, there was nothing unusual, and it seemed that nothing interesting was going to happen; some users like AzFix13 arrived, also others like Sebas and Vene came back to play a map game. Also on November 11, more congress members joined, being now Fire and Manu to replace the absences of XxDEGARxX and Draco inside the congress.

November quietly closed its doors, to give way to December, the month of joy, however, just a day after the beginning of the month, vandals wanted to advance their Christmas gift and vandalized on December 2 for 30 minutes the wiki articles, in the end they were stopped by Taxcy, and together with the newbie AzFix13, both reversed the vandals' edits.

However, the real surprise came on December 3rd. The Black Sunday (Domingo Negro), name given by Brandotes, when from early morning until late at night the wiki was massively vandalized, but despite this, the wiki did not stop working properly and many users (from David and Brandotes to English-speaking users) were undoing and reversing junk edits and vandalism of the vandals' multi-accounts, a repeat followed after this infamous day. Black Sunday was considered the worst day ever experienced in Hispanic Wiki Polandball. It would only be surpassed in August 2021, in a very particular event to be seen later. Black Sunday was considered the end of the Vandal Wars and with it, the campaign against vandalism orchestrated by Taxcy. Still, Nero Alan and some of his colleagues continued to vandalize on other wikis such as Mario Fanon and Dragon Ball Wiki Hispano, but these skirmishes ended as of March 2018.

December was a special month for Wiki Polandball Hispana, the year closed with 2 new temporary reversers: for their bravery, AzFix and Brandotes (also known in the future as Elosobolar and Chayotero) were promoted, waiting to become part of the official team.

By January 2018, the wiki appointed a new administrator in a never-before-seen campaign: Firelce vs Alb-Burguete, with the latter winning. Now with a rebuilding and fruitful wiki, Wiki Polandball Hispana began its expansion processes towards Facebook (as in August 2017 its second official Facebook page was founded, since Voztok disappeared and left the first one in complete abandonment). In addition to, now yes, boosting the official Discord server, opening its doors and allowing users to join. The classic Bubu de Oro also did not miss, now organized by TLG95 and being the winner the user Italiaball mafioso jr.

February and March were quiet months, prosperous in the growth and external expansionism of the wiki on Facebook and Discord. Closing this period, Brandotes and Azfix formally became reversers, thus beginning the takeoff of a new time of prosperity.

Late Modern Era: Silver Era

Period: July 10, 2017 - April 8, 2018

Mid-2018 was pretty quiet. Trying to push edits, TLG95 organized a Classic Edit Tournament. Taxcymus for its part pushed mostly Facebook and Discord.

The months passed with medium activity and a lot of tranquility (to the point that there were not many memorable events), except for the promotion of new moderators, in this case Jarly289 and Inti Benitez. Likewise, a user named Equisdo arrived. He was well accepted, but due to his bad behavior in the Discord server, he was denigrated and finally expelled from there. In an unexpected twist, Equisdo encouraged a revolution against the Discord servers and against Taxcymus (the Equisdo Revolution). This revolution, which had as its excuse the denigrations and mockery that Equisdo suffered for his bad behavior, was a failure and caused his exile. After this event, the forces in Discord would be improved and new moderators would be appointed.

Despite the stability on the wiki, Discord became the center of trouble: the Great War of August 2018, an event where a user named MasterPro (Puruan) in alliance with Equisdo tried to end Wiki Polandball Hispana. Curiously, former members of the Secta Skyoe (including Ubuntu and Troll) joined forces with Taxcy and WPH to stop both.

After that, both sides that were at war signed a peace treaty (which unfortunately was broken in the guerrillas of 2019). The Great August War also brought about a rapprochement towards Amino on the part of Taxcymus, mounting contact with Rayox and thus forging the alliance with Polandball Amino Español (PAE) between wiki and amino. Relations continued with Anon, but by 2021, relations ended after Anon's retirement from administration.

2018 closed with several sour mishaps for the wiki, mostly affecting Discord and social relationships: DIMR's overuse of users' personal information and the attempted doxxing of some members caused Ignacio Firelce to push for a reform to ban personal disclosure (and “subtle” doxxing). At the same time, the differences between AlBeOrion, Libia, David, DIMR, Jarly and Arathar Mx caused the fracturing of friendships, resulting in the Albeorics Wars; a series of “mere neighborhood-style” fights between everyone over their differences of ideas. This led to an administrative crisis in which the staff took sides in social areas, fortunately, these internal problems did not affect the proper management of the administration in Wiki Polandball Hispana.

On the other hand, for poor AlBeOrion the conflicts did not cease. The strong ideological differences in religion and politics between him and Veneco (Karling) caused “the crusades”, a series of fights, debates and provocations from Veneco towards AlBeOrion (supported by Firelce and DIMR). Veneco's promotion to Discord moderator only caused more tensions. Finally, after many administrative pressures and provocations from Vene, he was removed and exiled from the community. Currently, Veneco no longer has any problems with Wiki Polandball Hispana.

It would seem that after all the above, 2019 would be a calm year, unfortunately, two rookies would get into trouble, thus causing a wave of social problems known as Guerrillas Period, breaking with it the peace that was so longed for....

Early Contemporary Era: Guerrillas Period

Period: 18 May 2019 - 14 February 2020 / March 2020

Before starting with the events that would change the course of the history of Wiki Polandball Hispana, during 2019 several new users arrived: Dark Sonic 14 real (occasionally referred to as Skyrum), BloxTheLoco2900 (referred to as Zerno going forward), Martin Maidana CARP, Abismishus, ElvixPro7, IvanMCG, Mario Alkha, FabianoCFGS62, FelipeRocha678, Jose Manuel 878, Krakart, SpecterDYT, Mugetsu, LordJamieVardy and Gustavo Chileball, just to mention the most relevant ones, also users like Tomytomytomy (now called Chevy1958) returned and other ex-vandals like Lord Trollencio or Ubuntu (now Sibersk) returned to be temporarily active on the internet, although they were not welcome back to the wiki.

Beginning May 2019, after several months of relative peace and constant growth, Wiki Polandball Hispana experienced its first problem after a long time; the user Dark Sonic 14 real had created a page about the Tupamaros (an armed movement of Uruguay of far-left politics) under the excuse that the wiki allows balls of terrorist groups, and as the user Abismishus thought that this page broke the rules of the wiki, they started a series of debates during much of May, which Dark would lose after giving the reason to Abismishus by the administrator Taxcymus. This isolated conflict at first, would become the beginning of a series of small but relevant conflicts called “guerrillas”, thus ending the era of peace and stability.

The first conflict, while isolated, served to encourage future conflicts, the second guerrilla being a dispute in a thread on the English Polandball Wiki between Dark and ex-vandal Troll, whose origin goes back to Dark's mocking of Troll thanks to his article on the Wiki Polandball Usuarios (a sister wiki of WPH).

The problem came to action when Troll together with Shadow Claw (organization where the ex-vandals gathered) raided Dark's Discord server and slightly vandalized Youtubers Menores Wiki (Martin's wiki, Dark's ally in this guerrilla). Thanks to this incident, the Tratado de Autodefensa de Usuarios (TAU) or Users Self-Defense Treaty in English was born, which functioned as the last organization in force of the wiki, after its subsequent attack and closure (which we will see later).

During this second guerrilla, users took sides or had sympathy for one of these sides; TAU formed by Dark, Felipe and Martin, and users sympathetic to Troll as Blox, Ivan or to a lesser extent, Elvix, thus born a series of tensions between Shadow Claw and TAU, which only increased as users chose one of the sides. After this taking of sides, the guerrillas continued, normally, always being a supporter of these sides provoking the opposite, as it would be the Libia - Blox conflict, where Blox (encouraged by Troll) would cause problems to the administrator of Discord Libia (also known as Jetix), to the point of causing a global block in Fandom; this led to Blox also being blocked globally in Fandom, both for the same excuse: underage. There were other confrontations by way of skirmishes or mockery by users against TAU, an organization that acquired a bad reputation soon after, as well as another Blox-Troll-Gustavo conflict, where the user Gustavo Chileball would be constantly mocked and harassed, a conflict that would gradually cease.

These guerrillas as well as sporadically started, were also reduced, with constant blocking by the administration (and constant unblocking as well). Among the last notable guerrillas is the Abis-Troll conflict, which would begin in October and would conclude between the months of January/February; this conflict was due to the differences of both users, however, this conflict will mark a watershed in the history of WPH.

At that time these guerrillas were taking prominence on Discord, Wiki Polandball Users and to a lesser degree, the main wiki. As a “conptrapart” of TAU, Elvix in alliance with Mario founded La Élite (The Elite) in October 2019, thus starting an anti-sketch campaign that was later abandoned. Unfortunately, events such as the Bubu de Oro and the annual Halloween Contest were overshadowed by these problems, but were still celebrated without any problem. The use of words like “bubu” and “curco” (the slang used since the Golden Age) began to gain negative connotations, becoming a caste system where if you were considered “bubu” you were inferior. This model that began to gain traction thanks to the Guerillas was frowned upon by the administration. In a joint letter between Jetix, Mario Alkha and SpecterDiego with the support of the so-called “bubus” they managed to ban the use of all social slang, leaving it in disuse and considering the use of it as offensive. From then on, all the slang of the past is frowned upon and nowadays using it outside historical contexts leads to a blockade. Today, “bubu” is the only relevant one, but it is no longer used because in a few years a new slang emerged.

The guerrillas calmed down, unfortunately, they were only supplemented by a new problem. On February 14, 2020, the moderator Abismishus began a series of hacks and harassment through phishing and other maneuvers towards various users, especially Felipe and Dark, and to a lesser extent, Ivan and Gustavo, this with the aim of dismantling TAU, a goal that was achieved on his part. This led to the Crisis of February 2020, where Abismishus ended up allying with Troll at the end of the Abis-Troll conflict, to end TAU, fake his “hacking” and subsequently, start a wave of social terror on the server. Abis would be instantly dismissed and blocked. His guilt was discovered a few days later thanks to different informants who were aware of the pre-planning of this attack, which was a moral blow to the administration knowing that one of its moderators conspired against public order. The consequences of this fact made some users like Martin, Vardy or Krakart withdraw from the community out of fear, as well as some doxxed out of WPH by Abis and other users associated with these malevolent practices. The case would be closed in March 2020 finally, with a wounded staff and a distrustful community. The future will bring another story.

Late Contemporary Era: Olympic Peace

Period: March 2020 - September 2020

It was March 2020, the Abismishus case had been solved. Now, Abis renamed as “Britishfalk” became the public enemy of the community. Organizations such as TAU and La Élite were banned and in general, all social organizations that were not endorsed by the administration were banned as well. On the other hand, peace returned, and so did trust with users. Users such as LayBlue, Yopal and Juanes (Juanes being the first 100% native Discord user) arrived. During March 2020, the former Academia de Polonia was renamed as Instituto Polandball and opened doors now on Discord (previously it had done so on Facebook) with Facebook being where it was most successful.

In this period of calm, Lord Trollencio's sieges stopped, and the wiki experienced its two great events: the first one was the 2020 Bubu de Oro. This year, thanks to the global pandemic, it was organized by JuanMRB and he designed the trophy as a theme of that disgusting “bug” called COVID. The winner would be Felipe, a controversial event as Felipe drew a picture that didn't even look like a countryball. It was declared that in order to prevent genuine visual cancers from winning, an entourage would help evaluate the awards in future editions.

On the other hand, the 2nd Hispanic Polandball Wiki Olympic Games (2dos Juegos Olímpicos de Wiki Polandball Hispana) were organized and successfully concluded. That year there were 4 categories: Edition, Humor, Drawing, Geopolitics. The medal count was 2 gold to Spain thanks to Mario Alkha (Edition and Geopolitics), 2 gold to Peru thanks to FabianoCFGS62 (Humor and Drawing) and 1 gold to Brazil thanks to FelipeRocha678 (Humor). This event was so important that peace lasted practically during July and the beginning of August, and this period is currently known as the “Olympic peace”.

Crisis Period (Protovanguardist Era)

Period: September 2020 - August 2021

Concluding the Olympic peace and being too quiet, an old saying came to the surface: Si vis pacem, para bellum. September 2020 opened the doors with several fights between users, mainly on Discord. The remnants of the warlords of the old vandalism and guerrillas now appeared from time to time to annoy BloxtheLoco (Zerno for friends) because he was a defector from those movements. Zerno had caused a global block on the Fandom platform to Sr. Libia (Jetix for friends), generating a repudiation of the administration towards his person; on the other hand, he confronted militants of the guerrillas as the very same Troll, causing that him and his friends to go to bother Blox constantly in the server of WPH.

The impact was so great that Zerno received threats from both sides: those who bothered him made his life impossible and the administration constantly threatened to expel him completely from the community if he did not achieve peace. This cyberbullying lasted until December 2020, unfortunately, the administration, ignoring this problem, began to gain the repudiation of its users by showing an image of intolerance, inaccessible and generally accused of being corrupt (totally false accusations).

On the other hand, the rivalries generated with those who had had some relationship with the guerrillas such as Elvix, Zerno and Ivan, the immature behavior during the year by young new users such as Juanes, Yopal and Layblue, as well as the sympathy of Gustavo, Noaxh and Krakart for these rookies only generated that the administration headed by Specter and Inti BK began to have tensions, which skyrocketed by February 2021 when it was definitely impossible for both parties to get along.

The strict rules, the old guard administration and a strongly immature and disinterested community led directly to reforms in the constitution, strongly supported by Elvix, reinstating the Congress that had been closed in January 2020 and gradually withdrawing power from Taxcymus, turning him into a merely ceremonial and symbolic figure, who de facto had power but de jure, was not effective. The creation of the Congress, the increasingly encircled administration and later, the creation of a court of justice forced WPH to an unfailing democratization in the midst of tensions, where it was impossible to agree.

The final straw came in May 2021, when Zerno finally accumulated enough warnings to be permanently blocked. Zerno's blockade erupted into protests for his unblocking or blockage reduction. The Court was convened and succeeded in reducing his sentence. On the other hand, events did not end here, as Lay, Ivan and Yopal were also blocked, accused of misconduct (due to their immaturity). This particular crisis was called the Lay Crisis among the administrators to differentiate the trial of Blox and the trial of the three problematic users. Bringing forward the end, the 4 users would serve their sentence and it would even be reduced because the events of August 2021 forced the administration to reunite a community that was becoming radically polarized.

In the meantime, the encyclopedia was experiencing a rebirth: new users arrived. Notably FabiitooC, Rodripaton, Juan C2006, Alimfactum and RedKYR who came far within the administration, but every big change also brings important events. Some users had previously arrived at the end of 2020 but resumed their activity in the wiki thanks to a now non-existent space in our encyclopedia: Discussions. Discussions was a Reddit-like forum (of dubious quality) implemented by default on all hosted Fandom wikis. Although Discussions had rules, it was of little relevance to the administration. However, all of the aforementioned users were natives there and subsequently learned to edit.

Discussions became a poorly managed but very active place, with the case of IvanXD who used discussions to “expose and call out” a user (something that generated a severe warning), being the first event that the administration formally turned to see the discussions or the constant bickering within discussions generated by many irrelevant users as to appear here. However, with a lot of effort and thanks to Elosobolar (Brandotes in previous pages), who came back from his sleepy slumber to rejoin the administration (like a war hero!), he managed to convince these users to contribute to the wiki. Unfortunately, there was no genuine love for the wiki, which we will find out later.

Three events between the end of 2020 and the middle of 2021 also stand out in this period. Let's start with a bit of history: at the end of 2020 two users arrived: Daniel el mexicano xd and Maurox35. These users did not do much, except for being underage, which is why they were blocked from Wiki Polandball Hispana. Although since their arrival they showed immaturity, it was the same that condemned them to a block because they revealed their age to Ivan, who in one way or another, complied with the rules. Maurox35 would threaten to cause trouble on the wiki and retaliate by “defaming Wiki Polandball Hispana on his 10 subscriber youtube channel”. These words were not really taken seriously. The event was overlooked, but in the future both users would be part of new conflicts outside the main wiki.

On the other hand, let's go to a second event: the competition between Wiki Polandball Raras and Wiki Companhiaball, which started on July 21, 2020. Both wikis are wikis that do not include the polandball canon, and are merely used to include companies, organizations, and content similar to Companyball Wiki, the first being the Spanish version and the second the Portuguese version. Both wikis, mainly the first one, were very isolated from the main wikis, but in previous weeks they already started to have major editions, even before the mentioned competition.

At the time, FelipeRocha was administrator of Wiki Polandball Raras (also called simply Raras), who promoted a competition that consisted in seeing which of the two wikis would reach 1000 pages in the shortest time possible, when at the time both wikis had just over 300 pages. Not only did this event lead Raras (and Companhiaball) into an unnecessary spiral of junk pages, but it turned both wikis into a dumping ground, relevant enough for blocked users to go to Raras to stay within the WPH radius. This absurd competition ended on August 13 of the same year when Companhiaball came first. The competition caused some cracks between the relations between Raras and Companhiaball even after the conflict ended that lasted for the rest of the year. To make matters worse, many Raras users continued to create junk pages even after the event to eventually reach 1000 pages.

Raras would be the protagonist of a third event that, although it did not affect Wiki Polandball Hispana at the time, this event would cause certain tensions in the future. During the Raras competition, a Bolivian boy named Ron came to the site, who became known for his poor quality images, where he drew countryballs in notebooks, and some childish behaviors. When asked his age, he confessed to being only 7 years old, and was blocked for it. Interestingly this happened the day after the end of the competition with File:Companhia-icon.png Companhiaball. Nevertheless, Ron would start coming back with multiple accounts, and little by little he would start vandalizing Raras and creating his own wikis.

Although at first it was not given much relevance, Ron continued to be a nuisance in Raras with vandalism. Although for the metropolis (WPH) this case was irrelevant, for some users of Raras, including anonymous users like Hispanic Empire it was not, so much so that they founded the Ejército de Usuarios Anónimos Anti-Ron (EUAAR) or Anti-Ron Anonymous Users Army in English, an alliance between several users with the aim of fighting against Ron and try to improve Raras. This event was known as the war against Ron. Ron did not cease his conflicts until the beginning of 2021, even so, this event was overshadowed by a fourth event.

The endless vandalism, the failure of the competition, the excess of junk pages and the asylum of unwelcome users in WPH finally made Taxcymus intervene in Raras. Why? EUAAR started to become popular on Raras, and so users like Daniel and Maurox (blocked underages) collaborated with it and started editing on Raras. The straw that broke the camel's back was the arrival of Cacanalga69, an ironic multi-account of the retired Ubuntu vandal (Sibersk), who made a poor article called “Torta de Ben10ball”. The article was criticized by some users for being a trash article, but Sibersk defended himself by saying that it was made sarcastically to criticize the number of trash pages Raras had. Sibersk also humorously threatened Daniel with shooting him when he complained about the page.

In the process, some users like Elvix, Krakart and retired vandals like Ubuntu (Sibersk) or Troll saw underage users and the EUAAR as the cause of all these evils, creating a coalition dubbed the Partido Conservador de Polandball Raras (Polandball Raras Conservative Party). PCPR members had discussions on user walls against Maurox and Hispanic after Daniel was blocked from Raras after it was proven that he was underage. Finally, Taxcymus' intervention forced Felipe and the disgruntled people to conform to Raras' real policies, which were socially dubbed the Legislación Nacional (National Legislation), a series of rules that prohibited the use of minerals, atoms, animals, plants and natural elements as a ball. This whole event was called “Battle of Raras”. Junk pages and pages about wars (including the page about the war against Ron) were also deleted from Raras. Users Dudeman and Trotuman complained about the massive deletion of pages. The conservative party claimed victory, even though their pressure was never effective, as the orders for intervention came more from Elosobolar and Taxcymus than the interests of the party. Maurox was blocked from Raras and anonymous members like Hispanic were expelled. After these events, Raras did not have the same relevance in editions again (except for a new user named Lepano, who would make quality editions) until its recreation in Miraheze.

Elsewhere, Maurox, Daniel and some friends of his founded their own wiki known as MDDLM (the acronym refers to the users: Maurox, Daniel, Davilanda, Level harder and Matukelenball). That wiki began to suffer internal conflicts among the users themselves due to Maurox's abuse of power and complaints from the wiki's “fans”. Although these events had little or no effect on Wiki Polandball Hispana, since by that time the community trials were being executed and activity in the encyclopedia was encouraged by a new generation. Even so, some users like Krakart, Elvix and even Elosobolar supported and caused the closing of the MDDLM wiki, the global blocking of Maurox and the disabling of Daniel's account. On the other hand, the anonymous Hispanic, despite having positioned himself against MDDLM, had conflicts with PCPR users and with Dante Nicolas MX in Wiki Dddddddddddd, such conflict would cause the closing of this wiki by Fandom and the global blocking of Dante Nicolas MX on Fandom.

Users like Dante Nicolas MX (DNX), Matukelenball (Diegver), Davilanda and Trotuman would return over the years, but Daniel and Maurox were never heard from again.

On the other hand, the events caused in Raras did not stop, the user UN CRACK LISTO (nowadays called Renato) ran against Taxcymus and against the “Legislación Nacional” of Raras in a blog made by Renato in the Wiki Natiospherae titled “We will make a revolution”. Later, Renato would create a wiki called “Wiki Entityballs Español” that allowed the same as Raras, but also allowed to make balls that were forbidden in Raras due to the Legislación Nacional. This wiki would be attacked by PCPR and other users like Dudeman, and defended by EUAAR users like Hispanic, but it would result in the expulsion of anonymous people from the wiki and the takeover by PCPR, who would slightly change the rules to avoid creating the same articles that existed in Raras. After that, Renato and Dudeman would create an Entityballs in English that allowed the original rules, but it was not popular.

While the encyclopedic peripheries were orchestrating the closing of wikis and fighting against the opposition of the Legislación Nacional, WPH was experiencing moderate but relevant growth, as because of the guerrillas, WPH had not seen such high growth since before the guerrillas of 2019. Unfortunately, the crises and events in Raras overshadowed this growth, and the small break after the cessation of these problems only allowed the administration and the community to take a little breath for what was to come.

Early Vanguardist Era: The Great Move and the Phoenix Project

Period: August 10, 2021 - September 17, 2021

“There are decades where nothing happens and there are weeks where decades pass”...This phrase attributed to Lenin defines the darkest days that Wiki Polandball Hispana lived.

The morning of August 9, 2021 was totally different for Wiki Polandball Hispana, because it not only shook the WPH, but it shook the entire international Polandball community and even the Hispanic community itself. That day in English Polandball Wiki announced the closure of all Polandball Wiki for September 7, the impact did not take long to shake all administrations, leaving even stunned the staff at the time. The reasons for the closure were due to the fact that the Polandball Wiki broke the Terms of Use of the platform by being a satire that made references to racism, discrimination, xenophobia and other controversial issues.

The announcement to the Spanish side was made instantly, but the actions to be taken took days; for the first time in a long time, the staff did not have an immediate response. An attempt to coordinate with the other languages was unsuccessful, especially with the English side. In the meantime, the administration had to move immediately to create an emergency plan that would allow, in a short period of time, to rescue a wiki that was almost 8 years old at the time. Even so, as a symbolic way, two bureaucrats (admins) were elevated in the encyclopedia, being these JuanMRB and TLG95 as a “farewell” and tribute, being the last bureaucrats and promotions in Wiki Polandball Hispana “mother”. Unfortunately, both administrators would retire after the closing of the wiki in Fandom, although TLG95 would return in 2023.

Two days after the community-shaking announcement, the administration decided to orchestrate the Equipo Fénix (later renamed to Proyecto Fénix), a team of volunteer users from Wiki Polandball Hispana and other wikis who would assist in moving content and images to a new platform: Miraheze. Highlighting the support of Unai01, ex-helper of Fandom Hispano who contacted Miraheze for the transfer of the WPH (in terms of articles), as well as TheNozomi, ex-vanguard of Fandom Hispano who was responsible for the transfer of almost all the files and images of the WPH.

Even so, the movements of both would take their due days, and several users began to move items and files on their own. FabiitooC, who moved between 2000 to 4000 images, and even more! An extraordinary and loyal fact that earned him the position of administrator in the new wiki, as well as Matiluyon37, BautiLaje07 and Skyrum536 who moved several images and pages in the first hours and days of the birth of the Proyecto Fénix, as well as Elvix for moving the front page. There were about 15 volunteers, who to a lesser or greater extent, offered to help, and everyone, whether little or much, contributed their bit so that slowly but surely WPH in Miraheze began to form. In this scene Ivan, Yopal and Zerno are unlocked to help with this great move.

Due to the collective panic, the formidable work of many and the devastating news, many users began to throw in the towel. The entire administration resigned, except for Elosobolar, Juan C2006 and Taxcymus. Most excused themselves for the lack of discussions while others simply lost faith in the project. AlBeOrion, Alb-Burguete, Rodripaton, Red, Alimfactum, even TLG95 and JuanMRB said goodbye to their posts, some as soon as they heard the news simply left. Love for the community was nil, morale was low, the project seemed desolate and forgotten. On the other hand, to lift spirits, Elosobolar spent the entire month interviewing users. This dynamic allowed to connect the users and maintain the spirit of collaboration and union among the still active users.

On the other hand, a few days later, Wiki Polandball Raras was closed. This scared users even more, thinking that the next wiki would be Wiki Polandball Hispana. Finally, unsuccessful contacts with the international community bore fruit: Russian Wiki Polandball agreed to collaborate with Wiki Polandball Hispana to request that both communities not be closed. Although this was unsuccessful because Fandom would not reverse its decision, it at least allowed to negotiate more transfer days, even managing to agree on 30 more transfer days, a unique achievement thanks to diplomacy. From here on WPH would have diplomatic relations with the Russian community. At the same time, signatures of support were sought which, while not really helpful, at least showed that the community was united. Many Spanish-language communities including the Confederación de Fandom Hispano and the Organización Hispana de Countryballs showed their support and empathy for the cause.

Finally, September 7 arrived. Thanks to prior agreements with Fandom, WPH did not close. The Russian wiki for its part would close before the 30-day deadline expired. On the other hand, WPH continued to move some minor remnants manually: it was FabiitooC, Elosobolar, Mario Alkha and Taxcymus who together moved 4000 images in 4 days, almost 1000 images per user, 250 per day. After that, September 15 of the same year was declared as Día de la Purga (Purge Day): a day when the mother wiki could be fully vandalizable, as a farewell.

Skyrum (formerly Dark Sonic) was banned in that event for sending NSFW, being this the last block made in the WPH Fandom; there were 4 others blocked but Skyrum's case was the most striking. At the same time, Juan C2006 who was reverser at that time was the only staff that reversed vandalism, according to him, to “fulfill his work until the end”.

Finally, at 7 p.m. Central Mexico time, the “mother” Wiki Polandball Hispana took its last breath. It was formally closed. Both Elosobolar and Taxcymus pronounced their due words of farewell, first by Eloso and more solemnly by Taxcymus:

“Officially the wiki is down. On its last day the wiki was massively vandalized as an event. 5 users were banned for not respecting the vandalism rules. The wiki lasted a total of 2851 days, or in other words 7 years, 9 months and 19 days. [...] Well friends, if you will retire after the closing of the wiki... don't forget, don't make this world poop more poop, promote peace. Good luck wherever you go.” — Elosobolar, announcing the closing of the wiki live.

“Dear community, after confirming it, Wiki Polandball Hispana has been closed, today, at 7:00, Wiki Polandball Hispana was closed. Salve WPH mother, we will never forget you. The last bastion of Polandball in Fandom, is dead.” — Taxcymus giving its official declaration of the end of an era.

A stage full of history was ending but a new adventure was beginning. Even with a not very encouraging outlook, the few still active users and Discord users, who remained firm in their community, began to slowly take the path to inaugurate Wiki Polandball Hispana in Miraheze. The end of the era in Fandom also gave total end to the historical Taxcymus Plan that had been in force since 2016, thus concluding a democratic and strongly “expansionist” working method.

Late Vanguardist Era: The Miraheze Reboot

Period: September 17, 2021 - June 30, 2022

After the completion of the Big Move, the encyclopedic administration was reduced to four people: Elosobolar, Taxcymus, Juan C2006 and FabiitooC. The administration was further reduced after the retirement of Juan C2006, limiting it to 3 administrators. On the other hand, Discord also experienced the retirements of FelipeRocha, Specter and JM, leaving only Taxcymus, Elosobolar and Mario Alkha as administrators, and those promoted just in April 2021: VittoriaDeBrasovia (who we will refer to as Victor) and Ivih. Both of them were soon promoted at the beginning of 2022 for their great work and the need to have new active administrators.

The rest of 2021 little or nothing relevant happened within the encyclopedia itself. WPH was limited to occasional editions. Only HispanicJulio (who registered as a user), FabiitooC, Hue and Peruanoball edited consistently. A series of minor skirmishes impacted the new encyclopedia. The first few months were very slow and any atypical event became immediately relevant. This was the case of a Cuban user named SLNLAHM who began to write pro-communist Cuban propaganda on the Cubaball page. After his insistence he was blocked from the wiki (and the Cubaball page edition suffered the same fate). SLNLAHM also joined the community in Discord, where due to his deluded and politicized behavior he was a generator of memes such as “FAMILIA”, a poorly drawn picture done by SLNLAHM, among many others of the same style.

On the other hand, HispanicJulio, leader of the EUAAR, would formally enter as editor of Wiki Polandball Hispana. In turn, Hispanic remade the defunct Wiki Polandball Raras of Fandom, now in Miraheze. To avoid further conflict and distance between WPH and WPR, Hispanic and Taxcymus agreed to a union act to ensure that both communities would be sisters and held together.

Even so, the EUAAR again became relevant thanks to the fact that even after the Big Move, Ron was still active in Fandom, prompting Hispanic to continue pursuing him with the help of some minor allies. This generated some displeasure by Taxcymus and the small Discord community who saw Ron's issue as a distraction from issues of direct relevance to Wiki Polandball Hispana. Eventually, the EUAAR became the “Wiki Polandball Raras Army”, a modest defense team for Raras. Likewise, the pretensions of pursuing Ron also ceased by January 2022, when his wikis were finally deleted and he was lost track of.

In addition, Elosobolar was commissioned to direct the 2021 Bubu de Oro event, thus changing the traditional date from March-May to September-October. A modest Bubu de Oro was held with a jury to avoid controversy again. On the other hand, some users like Trotuman, DudemanTheDude and RENATO THE CRACK OFICIAL joined Wiki Polandball Hispana, editing together with Hispanic and becoming one of the few editors in the wiki in Miraheze.

The diplomacy of Wiki Polandball Hispana also resumed a leading role after years of inactivity. First, more formal contact was made with the English Wiki Polandball when Wiki Polandball Hispana together with Wiki Polandball Raras, Teamballs Wiki, Countryhumans Wiki ES and Natiospherae Wiki decided to formally join the Ballmedia project, a project organized by Agent Isai, SchizoACC and Denatidum.

What seemed like a first-rate diplomatic achievement soon turned into a tortuous relationship. The administrator Melody, main leader of the English Discord accused of a conspiracy to raid English Wiki Polandball coming from “inside” the highest spheres of WPH. This accusation was thanks to Lay and Juanes, in an attempt to be funny, announced a “ban speedrun” by making a micro-raid (or an attempt of it). While the English Wiki Polandball authorities acted decently, Melody's accusation escalated to the point of involving Ballmedia and its club of “experts” in diplomacy. Agent Isai, a Miraheze volunteer member, was quick to make statements of formally shutting down WPH at Miraheze and accusing the community of being toxic, without bothering to corroborate the facts or contact the relevant parties. What appeared to be an indirect threat to WPH set off alarm bells in its administration.

It was thanks to SchizoACC, consul of that organization that all of Agent Isai's comments reached the eyes of Taxcymus and Elosobolar. Finally, in a heated meeting between the 3 consuls and Taxcymus, a relative peace was reached, which included temporarily blocking Lay and Juanes, as well as enacting rules to reduce the disjunctions between the two communities. Unfortunately, in the eyes of the WPH and the Hispanic Union, Ballmedia was presented as an organization totally distant from reality, inflexible and simply interested in the affairs of the English Wiki Polandball and not international, from that moment on, the WPH began to build its own axis of work and friendship between Hispanics and other non-English encyclopedias thanks to the “Act of Union”.

To close 2021, a few days after the end of the Big Move, Elosobolar drafted a document entitled Ambitious Project. This project, as the name suggests, with a lot of ambition, sought a future independence of Wiki Polandball Hispana from any platform and to build its own collaborative space. It is incredible to say that, by the time it was written, no one would have anticipated that in the future its words would become a mantra and prophecy. However, let's not get ahead of the story. The document was drafted on September 27 of the same year and was discussed on several occasions by Elosobolar and Taxcymus in private, although they would not take up these ideals formally until 2023.

Meanwhile, in this transition period, a user named “Me” (Moon Specter) arrived in the Discord community. He did not last long, but enjoyed an unpopularity not seen since 2016, being relatively disowned by the entire administration and community. The user stood out because of his attempts to maintain the policies Elvix pushed on the division of power: the Court, the Congress, and the administration's incredible reduction of power in community affairs. The administration, utterly flimsy, could not cope with an inharmonious congress and a court that could not cope with community tensions between rookies and veterans. Meanwhile, Taxcymus began a relevant absence, leaving users to their own business. Finally, as far as Me is concerned, he left the community without any shame or glory (more shame than glory).

Although this period did not reach the point of a crisis, it made it clear that Elvix's policies no longer had a place in an increasingly small and separate community. Such a complex organizational chart with pompous rules, excessive bureaucracy and too much power to the people would not allow the community to flourish or reduce community tensions. Unfortunately, these policies remained a social paradigm and considered by the community, which created a limbo where the administration could not reform them without the consent of the people, an approval that was difficult to obtain from the various factions.

The absence of Taxcymus to deal with these problems plus his largely ceremonial role forced him to make a key decision: to appoint a new guide. For his part, Elosobolar also began to be absent. A young user who remained within the pre- and post-administration administration received such a position thanks to Taxcymus' approval: VittoriaDeBrasovia or Victor, who was promoted as chancellor without anyone's consultation and under an autocratic decision.

This event that totally ignored Elvix's policies is considered the “Self-Coup d'Etat”. On June 30, 2022, Taxcymus declared Victor as chancellor and de facto, the “new owner” of the server, granting him absolute powers to make and unmake any element he saw fit. Fortunately, Victor had a strong support from the community, as he was a charismatic user and appreciated by the users, which did not generate any commotion. The “self-coup” was a success. Taxcymus was absent for the rest of 2022 and Victor took the reins of the community. The “Vittorina Era” began.

Early Neovanguardist Era: Vittorina Era

Period: July 1, 2022 - June 14, 2023

The Vittorina Era is the name given to Victor's appointment as chancellor. Although the Taxcymus Era does not conclude, both eras converge at the same time, the former being derived from the latter. The second half of 2022 was full of ups and downs, though not to the extent of 2021. Tensions continued, although Victor did his best to reduce them, a fact that was only achieved with the patience and constancy of months. Some events that marked these tensions was the trial of Hispanic Empire for sending server links, which although it caused its blocking in the Discord server (where the event occurred) was finally unblocked with time.

At the same time, Victor reinstated democracy for promotion and demotion of moderator positions. Ivih and Mario Alkha became administrators (reichtangles or reichs) on the Discord server. The Congress and the Court were dissolved and the Court was only authorized to be invoked by Victor when he required it. The constitution of Elvix also came to an end at the urging of Ivih and Victor. Victor again granted absolute powers to Taxcymus. The WPH was undergoing a transformation from a democracy to a meritocracy, combining the best of both.

The encyclopedia continued to have little activity; again, Discord was the protagonist of Wiki Polandball Hispana. Unfortunately, FabiitooC resigned from his position as administrator, a year after having obtained it, generating a setback in the administration itself. Now everything fell on Taxcymus, who being absent, delegated the tasks of the wiki to Victor, who because the chancellery only operated in Discord, left the wiki to total neglect and at the mercy of users and anonymous. Hispanic took an important role in this final semester of 2022, as he was in charge of helping new users and becoming a spokesman for the wiki, he got a position as content moderator (now only moderator) for his active participation and constant editing in the encyclopedia. Still, the encyclopedia had its traditional 2022 Bubu de Oro, led by FabiitooC before he retired.

The inactivity that the wiki suffered in 2022 soon began to change: new users who arrived at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 began to take prominence. At the end of 2022 GaboSovietico, KandalsXD, Anolaz, MulTiMobLine, São tome and Prro miado arrived while in 2023 Diegver, Danco540, NewGranadaBall, Nagalandaf, Tico24j299, Frante Del Sur, Sami10 and Estebandido23 joined in, ushering in a new and renewed generation of editors.

After the 2022 Bubu de Oro, the wiki lived extreme calm, but a small event encouraged the situation to start moving. User Deiner Ernet started to make bad quality edits and to explain misrepresentations about vandals, supposed friends of his on the wiki or even multi-accounts on the wiki. Basically typical underage behavior. In the meantime, several accounts registered and also started making lousy edits and many were even suspected of being multi-accounts. The theory that the wiki was being filled with multi-accounts acting as vandals or underages was becoming popular, and so it was that two new users (presumably Deiner multi-accounts) proposed to do an investigation against the vandals.

This Anti-Multis Campaign would begin on the first day of 2023, and would deal with the persecution of these multi-accounts that, although it was not known at the time, belonged to Deiner Ernet, who was posing as other users such as a supposedly dangerous vandal, a supposed girlfriend, or even Ron himself. Because users were unaware that Deiner was behind all this, Deiner also decided to come out in favor of the anti-multis campaign. This campaign also started a movement against vandals, anonymous spammers and multi-accounts, and also managed to pressure Taxcymus to finally ban editing by unregistered (anonymous) users, thus causing the end of this campaign at WPH, as Deiner and his multis could no longer edit there, although the campaign would continue for a few more days at Wiki Polandball Usuarios until the end of the month.

Apparently, Deiner wanted to cause a “war”, coming out “victorious” having succeeded, but we leave it to the reader to think about whether this can be considered a war or a victory. Deiner also studied in Wiki Polandball Usuarios the behavior of users such as Ron, Lord Trollencio and the Señor de las Multis. Deiner was the first user to be considered a “panachangue” (panachango) by the generation of the time, and it could be said that Deiner's strategy of mixing one's mental immaturity, with multi-accounts posing as others and misrepresenting things, would become very popular thereafter among future vandals. From then on, Deiner would occasionally come back with a multi-account, but he would still be discovered and blocked.

Although in the eyes of Taxcymus and Victor the Deiner issue had been concluded, Hispanic continued to play the issue even on Discord, and although in the eyes of the Discord community the total blocking of Deiner was the definitive end of the issue, Hispanic continued to use Deiner as a new reference point for new age vandalism. To put an end to this, Taxcymus passed a lawsuit to Deiner for the community to vote for his total block and final ban. The users voted to block him and this formally ended the issue.

With new editors, Taxcymus promoted greater outreach to newcomers, April became a month of much community involvement. First, it announced that it was looking to prepare new staffs, thus encouraging user participation. He also inaugurated an icebreaker to get them to know the bureaucrat better and launched a vote for the approval of Planetballs in WPH. In addition, proposals were also launched for historical events and policies for war pages in WPH. Thanks to these policies many new users became more involved in wiki matters and felt listened to by the administration.

Due to the strict rules that were proposed to legalize war pages (e.g., no civil wars, no wars between two states, and pages had to have a minimum of 10 images), many users who were in favor of the idea abstained, causing the obligations to create these pages to be relaxed. Several users made a “Page Distribution Treaty” to work each one in one or several wars, and although it was not something official nor obligatory, it had the approval of Taxcymus.

The wiki followed its natural course. While this was happening, the influence of the countrytuber community (youtubers of countryballs or similar) reached Wiki Polandball Hispana. The young artist and youtuber Mangoball created a new rule for countryball canons that consisted of representing Egypt in a pyramid, thus “Egyptramid” was born. This idea was presented by Mangoball in a YouTube video on March 18, 2023. This new idea became popular among Spanish-speaking countryballs content creators on YouTube.

Meanwhile on the wiki, on March 29th user Diegver wrote a blog about the Egyptramid issue calling for a vote to approve or not this proposal. All users, including Dudeman, Hispanic and Taxcymus wrote their refusal. Since it was an editor's blog and not someone from the administration, no further attention was given for the next two months.

On Youtube, on the other hand, the Egyptramid movement continued to gain momentum. In April, MulTiMobLine, wiki editor and countrytuber was part of the opposition to Egyptramid and rescued Taxcymus and Hispanic's arguments to dismantle the whole topic, launching the video ⚠️Neither Egyptramid nor Any Other New Rule Will Be Official CONFIRMED⚠️ on April 4th. This video reverberated through the Youtube community, causing Mangoball and several users to turn their attention to the wiki. Finally, on May 2, Mangoball responded to Diegver's blog and MultiMobLine's video with a video directly attacking Wiki Polandball Hispana, its users and Taxcymus. The video was called “Let's Make Egypt Great Again!” and was controversial for alleged fascist and Nazi symbolism in the video, in addition to accusing WPH users of “communists” and “clowns”, as well as saying that those who disagree with Egyptramid have “intellectual disability” and should be "segregated", as well as using 8balls with a negative connotation.

Then, Taxcymus spoke out by launching his own blog about Egyptramid and Mangoball's video. MulTiMobLine did not take long to prepare a video-response in favor of Wiki Polandball Hispana, dismantling Mangoball's arguments and exposing to the countrytuber community Mangoball's offenses towards a community that never harmed him in EGYPTRAMID will not be a polandball rule. The controversy was served.

While Taxcymus, MulTiMobLine and the editors were keeping their eyes open by reverting edits on the Egyptball page to remove the Egyptramid images and spam, the chancellor and his cabinet on Discord, a day apart, were fighting on a new front, now on Discord and with diplomacy in between. A day before Mangoball became the center of attention in the encyclopedia, the reverser DudemanTheDude wrote on the WPH Discord server about his dislike of Melody (bureaucrat of the eponymous English wiki) and openly expressed that if the user was so problematic it was convenient that the English community removed her. An unknown spy brought this comment to Melody's attention on the English wiki server. Melody began to threaten to “order the definitive closure” of Wiki Polandball Hispana.

Quickly Melody threatened Victor, Mario Alkha, Hispanic, Ivih and even mentioned Taxcymus. The Discord administration met for an emergency conversation. Melody accused WPH of conspiring against them and orchestrating moves to depose them from power, forcing past events as “a well-articulated master plan to cause a revolution against them.” None of these comments had any connection or coherence or logic to them. On the one hand, Melody accused Dudeman of meddling in this and accused the administration of even staging these events. Melody privately threatened Ivih to even call a lawyer to denounce WPH and went so far as to openly say that the wiki was controlled by “children” (even though the entire administration is already in the 18 and older range).

Unfortunately, Victor and Taxcy in a move to calm the waters as soon as possible, blocked Dudeman for a month from the server and removed him from his position as a reverser. With due mastery and excellence of WPH diplomacy, Mario Alkha managed to reach this agreement with Melody indicating that actions were taken to remove Dudeman from his position. Eventually, the waters calmed down. However, in the eyes of the community, this was seen as an unwanted intervention. The administration demanded an estrangement from the English Polandball Wiki following this open rift.

With the tensions with the English wiki over and a response to Mangoball's video, it was only a matter of hours before peace was achieved. Taxcymus managed to contact Tako, who managed to support Mangoball's public apology for the aberrant acts against WPH. Finally, on May 3, Mangoball publicly apologized for his actions towards Wiki Polandball Hispana, concluding the three most tense days of 2023. What suddenly went up, suddenly went down. During these 3 days, users began to organize themselves into small defense groups as during these days some Youtube users came to WPH to spam Egyptramid. Concluding hostilities this ended. However, there was a fear on the part of the users that more annoying people would come to spam or worse, start vandalizing the wiki, because thanks to the “fame” made towards the wiki, suddenly many new user accounts were created that did little editing.

Taking advantage of the situation, Taxcymus enacted the launch of a defense team in case of emergencies and in peacetime, to organize group activities, this group was called Comando Especial de Defensa (CED) or Special Defense Command, officially operating on the day of its launch: May 5.

At the same time that the encyclopedia was regrouped, a new policy was enacted in Discord on the same day; Administrator Ivih totally forbade any mention of wars or turning recent events into “wars” such as those already mentioned in these paragraphs. This act was referred to as “factionalism”, the action of taking sides and turning every event in the community into a war, guerrilla war or battle. “Factionalism” was banned so that this would not again be a reason for them to threaten the existence of the wiki and its server, using the problem Dudeman caused with the English Polandball Wiki as an excuse. Some users felt that the measure brought about sanctions that they considered excessive: Theballer was banned for two weeks from the server for mentioning an external conflict, while Hispanic received several warns, one for making a comment about Mangoball, and another for saying “ours” to refer to the current editors. Hispanic accused this policy of being an excuse to warn users. This policy lasted until August/September 2023, when Wiki Polandball Hispana formally left Miraheze.

The altercations of May were soon in the past and the activity that the wiki had been experiencing at the beginning of the year returned. Surprisingly, with new users and with the help of the CED, users became more participative and interested in supporting their community. The April reforms began to take place without a new problem. There were some skirmishes from spammers and petty vandals, however, CED through the Batallón Nius (literally: battalion of new users) founded and organized by GaboSovietico was quick to deal with all these annoying users.

At this time, the wiki was living a period of definitive peace; to celebrate this peace, the chancellor Victor called the community to the creation of a new official flag from May 12 to 20, since the first flag (the flag of AlBeOrion) was still in force from the end of 2016 to date, and the previous Discord administrator (Specter) created a second flag in 2021 that was used unofficially. Finally, after an internal vote, the flag of the artist Laynel was the one selected for respecting the values of the encyclopedia, its institutional colors, Hispanicity and the origin of the Spanish language, thus becoming the official flag of the community.

Two days after the new flag was raised, someone else was also raised in the encyclopedia: Victor was appointed definitive chancellor of both Discord and the encyclopedia, thus creating a new position as well, unifying Discord and wiki in a way with a common administration at the top. Although as we have already read in these paragraphs, history tends to repeat itself; now WPH will have to face a new event that will revive ghosts of the past.

In this era, a new lore would begin to form among the younger users, with words and memes such as panachango, monomonkey, si tan solo, nonos (this one being stolen from the older generation, but being widely used by the new one), among other expressions.

Late Neovanguardist Era: The Great Translation and the Ark Project

Not two years had passed since that August 2021 that shook WPH, only for the wiki to shake again. Miraheze entered an administrative and organizational crisis with the mass resignation of its volunteers and administrative team. Although the reasons were not clear, there were already tensions among its staff, it was then when after this mass resignation and the technical inability to meet the demands of the various wikis Miraheze announced its official closure on October 1st of the same year. Although the news took everyone by surprise... Who better than Wiki Polandball Hispana to face the worst struggles that a wiki can face?

This time there was a central issue: Where to host? There were no more platforms available or interested in supporting and the only platform recently founded by Miraheze ex-staffs publicly announced that it would not accept the other Polandball Wikis projects. After an important conversation with TheNozomi, helper of the Confederación de Fandom Hispano and veteran wiki technician and editor, as well as an emergency meeting with several encyclopedic and Discord leaders, the most important decision was made: to declare independence.

Once again, everyone set to work to prepare for his emancipation. Although a few days later Miraheze retracted his decision, as they say: “the damage was already done”. Nozomi and Taxcymus started working to move first Wiki Polandball Hispana and then the rest of the allies. The Big Move and Project Ark were announced the next day after Miraheze announced its closure. The move did not take long and was more peaceful, users encouraged to their independence strongly supported this change. On July 18, a little over a month after the news broke, Wiki Polandball Hispana announced the Miraheze Blackout to bring closure to an important chapter in its history.

11 days later, on July 29, the current wiki (or independent wiki) opened its doors to receive the community with a warm welcome. At the same time, on July 31, as soon as everyone arrived to get ready to collaborate, Taxcymus called for elections for new administrative promotions, thus fulfilling its goal and promise to promote new staffs. HispanicJulio and JapanKoreaRussia were promoted to administrators, GaboSovietico and KandalsXD to moderators and DudemanTheDude along with RENATO THE CRACK OFICIAL as reverters. Soon users started to edit and continue contributing to the now new independent wiki. The end of so much chaos also marked the end of another great era: by August WPH was 3 months away from 10 years, its first decade.

Protocoetaneous Era: Independence Period

Period: August 6, 2023 - Current

The first weeks of independence were an up-and-down affair. The joy of being free of any dependency prevailed in the community, but the arrangements for the higher-ups were now much more compromising. A few weeks prior to the move, Taxcymus convened TheNozomi, HispanicJulio, Bitenkas, Victor, Mario Alkha and other users to found Polandball Holdings, a corporate spin-off organization to have better legal, financial and technical control over Wiki Polandball Hispana. Likewise, with the purpose of recovering the primary investment of Taxcymus, it was possible to agree on the transfer of Wiki Polandball em Português to the new domain. With this transfer, Polandball Holdings was formally born, the current organization that manages the entire domain, hosting and maintenance. While the upper echelons discussed the maintenance priorities, the community did not leave aside the editing and activity.

On September 20, with the transition having calmed down, HispanicJulio was the one to orchestrate the 2023 Bubu de Oro, with Estebandido23 emerging as the winner. The Bubu de Oro gave everyone a break from several months of action.

To the surprise of many, on November 2023 TLG95 returned to the wiki and would become an editor.
