The Bubu de Oro (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈbuβu ðe ˈoɾo]), translated into English as Golden Bubu, is an annual contest held on 
Polandball Hispana since 2016 in which the user who draws the most cancerous or childish 
Polandball-themed image or comic is awarded.
The origin of 
Bubu de Oro goes back to the old term “bubu”, which at that time was used to designate immature or infantile users. The contest was thus a way to parody the bad drawings of the rookies. Although today the term “bubu” has fallen into disuse, the contest is still held annually. The organizer of the contest is usually a relevant administrator who will have to draw the trophy of the year's edition.
The bad drawings in the contest are made on purpose and any user can participate, with exceptions that deserve a block such as being underage, multi-account or vandal.
