Manifesto

1) Who are we?

We are an organization desiring the cooperation of all ball-suffix communities, among the fans, artists and the leadership. We are independent from any other community, and we come here to talk, draw, debate and promote an international countryballs identity in all languages.

2) Our goals?

With that being said, our goals are to be defined within 7 demands:

1. Creation of a network of members across different communities. Website owners, admins, editors, artists and expertise, etc etc. Developing free association, mutual aid and cooperation among all countryballs communities.
2. Creation of a forum of representatives for each community, allowing for further representation of all active, influential, symbolic and committed personalities within the international and intercommunity countryball communities within a council for the due approval, repeal and support of projects.
3. Establishment of a universal academy of art. One dedicated to the education of drawing countryballs and humor that supports and helps aspiring artists and other expertise in all possible cyberspaces.
4. Establishment of a translation agency for multimedia material in different languages. This team will assist in the distribution of content in all languages.
5. Promotion of cooperation between artists through collabs on different websites in an official way, allowing interdependence and support from all communities.
6. Encouraging support of different wikiprojects in non-Anglo languages, which have small communities and thus need extensive support for their growth. Likewise, allow the foundation of new wikiprojects sponsored by this organization and “Encyclopaedia Polandballae”
7. Joint collabs and events across communities participating in the project, allowing for the flourishment of ideas all across countryballs and related communities.

3) How will this be organized?

The GCO administration will be the head of the entire organization; they are the users who manage the staff and all the affairs of the organization, as well as its social networks. The administration is elected through independent nominations, chosen by members of the current administration. The main person representing the administration is the Leader of the Organisation, who is most responsible for the organization and manages and represents it. The Leader appoints his administration with the prior approval of his own, this includes admins, mods and other positions that may exist. They can promote users who they deem suitable for promotion, if they meet the requirements.

4) The Parliament, a space for all communities.

The Parliament is the first power of the organization. This entity is a group of representatives of all communities belonging in the organization. Our parliamentary system seeks to allow universal suffrage for all people participating in legislation and executing, managing current or new projects.

The Parliament is a meritocratic system inspired by the Most Serene Republic of Venice. This allows representation not to be limited to a page, but to any community, a leader of its own community or influential people in spaces without real administration, regardless of social network.

The Parliament has its own Secretariat: people responsible for the organization of the parliament, headed by a secretary and their deputy secretary. The secretary is democratically elected by all MPs, being the general representative of all and organizing the votes, while the deputy secretary will be the 2nd place user. The elections will not have a date and will be held according to the decision of the parliament and/or the administration.

5) How to join in?

If you want to be a part of parliament and/or administration, it will be important to meet some of following requirements (* indicates what is mainly for parliament):

• Activity
• Drawing quality *
• Drawing consistency *
• Site management: admins, mods, editors *
• Which community do you participate in? *
• Number of followers
• Good behavior

It is preferable to have a very active user who, although not participating in any particular site, has an excellent track record, draws constantly, follows the rules and shows interest in the project.

For administration, applications are opened at certain times (depending on how many people are needed). To join parliament, you can apply at any time.

Being inactive for more than 3 months without justification is equivalent to dismissal from your position.

6) Our existence

You may be asking what drives us to such an ambitious project. Why is it that we are committed to such a task? From the creation of Polandballs to the current state we are in today, we have come a long way in the history of ball communities on the Internet. Despite this, there has never been any coherent unity between these communities despite our shared interests in Countryballogy. Attempts like Ballmedia, spearheaded by Agent and Polandball Wiki were made, but ultimately died down due to said Wiki leaving. With this, any attempt at cooperation between these communities died down and everyone went back to isolation and bickering among one another. Things have changed since then, ball communities today now actively cooperate among another despite any mutual distrust between them, the grudges have died down and bygones have become bygones. Thus came the creation of the GCO. We seek the unification of all community into this project to create a mutual understanding and co-prosperity among the Polandball communities. It is only through unity that our passions can be fulfilled, that friendships can be strengthened, so that our interests are kept in mind. It is precisely here that Unity is Strength.

Despite our Herculean ambitions and little strength, we shall overcome all past mistakes, all current challenges, and all future threats for the safety of the ball communities – We have a world to win.

7) I agree

If you agree with the project, your signature will be very helpful. You can sign as an official community representative, an unofficial community representative, or an independent.

• Official representatives are people who are leaders or managers of their community and want to be part of GCO, gain all the benefits of participating and are committed to the organisation's manifesto.
• Unofficial representatives are people who informally represent their community, this means that their community is not yet ready to be part of the organization but due to the good will of members of their community, they sign to maintain contact.
• Independent representatives are people who do not represent any community but wish to actively participate and are committed to the cause.

Any status you wish to sign with is approved and represents your support. By signing we also expect your help and commitment, we know that it is difficult to offer support because managing time is increasingly complicated (work, school, home wiki, etc.) however, working with you will be a pleasure and advantageous for the project prosper. Be part of the change!

8) Signs

First create an account on this website to sign. Before signing, write the name of the community you represent (add a link if possible). Write the status of your representation: "official", "unofficial" or "independent". It have to be written in English to be more readable.

All signatures are verified to eliminate duplicates or suspicious signatures (we don't want imposter representatives).

We accept all countryball communities (including mapping) or countryball artists who are interested.

A signature that does not have the above can be revoked, but don't worry, you can sign again!
